The Rossoneri have reached an agreement with Boca Juniors in relation to a move for Rodrigo Betancur
As they continue looking to strengthen their midfield, AC Milan are nearing the signing of 19-year-old Boca Juniors playmaker Rodrigo Betancur.
The Rossoneri have so far came up short in proposed moves for Fiorentina duo Borja Valero and Milan Badelj as well as Clement Grenier and Jose Sosa already this summer.
However, they at last look to have gotten their man withPresident Silvio Berlusconi releasing €15 million in fundsfor the club to seal the signing of Betancur.
All of that money has been used to table an offer for the Xeneizes midfielder and it is believed that the Buenos-Aires based club have accepted the bid, as Milan prepare to discuss personal terms with the youngster.
Betancur, who has two years remaining on his current deal at La Bombonera, was also chased by city rivals Interearlier this year before they cooled their interest.
Serie A champions Juventusalso had an option on the player until June 2017 as part of the deal which took Carlos Tevez back to Boca but have decided not to take it up.
