PRESIDENT OBAMA SHARES HIS SUMMER SIXTEEN PLAYLIST

WHAT’S PRESIDENT OBAMA LISTENING TO ALL SUMMER ’16?

The POTUS answers that question yet again with his second annual “Summer Playlist,” filled with fun-in-the-sun tunes by everybody from Jay Z, Nas, and Wale to Prince, Miles Davis, and D’Angelo.

“Been waiting to drop this: summer playlist, the encore,” tweeted Obama. “What’s everybody listening to?”

The two-part playlist features “Daytime” and “Nighttime” tunes. For the daytime, he’s got jams like “LoveHate Thing” by Wale, “Tightrope” by Janelle Monáe, “Classic Man” by Jidenna, “So Ambitious” by Jay Z and Pharrell, and “Forever Begins” by Common. He’s also added joints like “The Man” by Aloe Blacc, “As We Enter” by Nas and Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, and “U Got the Look” by Prince.

In the meantime, the “Nighttime” playlist features “Lady” by D’Angelo, “I’ll Be There for You/You’re All I Need” by Mary J. Blige and Method Man, and “Acid Rain” by Chance the Rapper. He also got smooth with “My Funny Valentine” by Miles Davis, “I Get Lonely” by Janet Jackson, and “Do You Feel Me” by Anthony Hamilton.

After seeing their songs get the presidential stamp of approval, Chance, Nas, and Common offered some enthusiastic responses.
