Chelsea appear to be interested in signing Leicester playmaker Riyad Mahrez.
The Daily Star says Alessandro Schiavone, an Italian journalist, was interviewing Blues boss Antonio Conte at the Chelsea Harbour Hotel when he also saw Mahrez. "I saw Mahrez outside and Mahrez did not speak. His agent to me: 'Chelsea want Mahrez'," Schiavone tweeted.
Meanwhile, it might be all over as far as Chelsea's attempts to bring Romelu Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge from Everton are concerned.
The Star thinks that could well be the case, reporting that the Blues "have turned their attentions to Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi" after Everton stood firm on their £75 million valuation of Lukaku.
