Wenger confirms double signing...and his spending is over

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that he will sign Germany defender Shkodran Mustafi and Spanish striker Lucas Perez - but that will be the end of his spending in this transfer window.

Wenger has come under fire for his lack of transfer activity this summer and he suggested his two late buys will not be followed by any additional arrivals ahead of Wednesday's deadline.
“We have bought two players Mustafi and Perez. They will integrate into the team now and we will help them join squad," confirmed Wenger.
"We had to work very hard to get signings done. We have not got any plans for anyone else now.
"We have a big squad and we have spent a lot of money, so I don't think we will do anything else now."
Wenger was relieved to see his side pick up their first Premier League win of the season, as they turned in an impressive performance to beat Watford 3-1 at Vicarage Road to hand Wenger a 650th win as Arsenal boss.
"We shot ourselves in the foot in the first game against Liverpool when we were under pressure, but we have responded well," added Wenger.
"I focus on our performances and not what others are saying around us. We are not there physically yet and we saw that in the second half of this game.
"When you are 3-0 up, it is always difficult to believe they can come back and that made it difficult for us, but we have got the win we needed."
