Emmanuel Frimpong is an Arsenal player again – but it’s not with the English Premier League giants.
The much-loved former Gunners midfielder has failed to really settle with one club since leaving the Emirates in 2014.
He had loan spells at Wolves, Charlton and Fulham during his time with Arsenal and has since played for Barnsley and FC Ufa in permanent moves that didn’t really work out.
The eyes of Arsenal fans would have lit up when seeing Frimpong’s name in a headline alongside the club’s name – that’s despite the fact he made just 16 competitive appearances for the first team during his time there.
He’s better remembered for his no-nonsense attitude to playing with the youth team, entertaining social media activity and love for the club.
